Married 8/23/2008

I want to thank everyone for helping me pick the perfect dress and help make it fit so well. Even though it took me several trips and many opinions on it.
I recieved many great comments that day on my dress. I was told several times that day I was breathtaking and not only by my husband! I wish I could wear it everyday.
Thank you "Perfect Fittings" for making the dress fit perfectly and made me feel comfortable all day long. It was a perfect day!

Married 10/18/2008...Sweetest Day

What made your day special? My day was special because I got to spend it with everyone I love. We were blessed with the beautiful weather and breathtaking fall colors!

What would you change about your wedding day? If I could go back I would have gotten a videographer, at least for the ceremony. It's amazing how fast the day goes and I would love to see it all over again.

What is your advice for future brides? My advice for future brides would be to live in the moment. Don't worry about the timing and the details. Take a deep breath and enjoy it!

What made your day special? Knowing that I married the most wonderful man that I would spend the rest of my life with and being able to share that with my family and friends!

What would you change about your wedding day? I wish we would have had more time for pictures after the wedding.

What is your advice for future brides? Make your wedding an expression of you as a couple and don't try to please all your family and friends. The day is about you and include special elements that make your day memorable.

What made your day special? It was a beautiful 70 degree day in October and the leaves were in peak color. Everything about the day went just as we planned. All of our family and friends were able to share the day with us.

What would you have changed about your wedding day? Nothing, it was perfect.

What is your advice to future brides? Have fun planning your wedding and make it a reflection of you and and your future husband.

Married 11/15/2008

I've attached a photo of me and my maid of honor from my wedding day. I bought a bridal gown at Amelishan last summer and was very happy with it. I got a great deal, and although it was not the "latest fashion", it was just what I was looking for. After searching through a number of bridal shops and online, all I found were strapless, backless, absurd, gaudy, ugly, or designer gowns made with only size 00 brides in mind. Alas, I'm not one of those. So it was a pleasant surprise to find a gown that fit like a glove and met my criteria at Amelishan. The attentive service by the store's staff was the icing on the cake. Thank you!
What made your day special?
It was our wedding day. That, in and of itself, made it an extraordinary day
What would you have changed about your wedding day?
My bridesmaid's flowers. In hindsight, I should have searched harder to find a photo of a bouquet I really liked to give the florist. Unfortunately, what you describe to the florist and what you get on the day of your wedding are two different things
What is your advice to future brides?
The stress is incredible, but ultimately worth it. Come the day of your wedding, just try to relax and enjoy it because it will be over in a flash

What made your day special?
Having all our family and friends around to witness our wedding

What would you change about your wedding day?
I would change the heat. It was pretty hot that day and I remember I was sweating like a pig while we were outside taking photos

What is your advice for future brides?
The advice I would give to ANY bride is to enjoy the planning of your wedding! Don't take this day for granted. Little things like the matching exact colors should never make you lose site of what your wedding day is all about
